Hi,
I've noticed a very high pitched whistling coming from my speakers and wondered what is causing it and how I can get rid of it!
I have a Yamaha RX-V540RDS amp with Kef KHT2005 speakers connected with QED silver anniversary XT cables.
I recently re-wired the connections with banana plugs at the amp end and I have noticed that the whistling is coming from all speakers. Also, the whistling occurs regardless of the input setting - even if there is no audio input into the amp, the whistling can still be heard.
Everything still works as normal, it's just the annoying high pitch whistle that can be heard in the background when there is not a lot of soundtrack to drown it out.
Any help or suggestions greatly received!

I need both the the spectral tools of izotope of and the multitrack sequencing and the video decoding of reaper to make a achieve my work. However I can't find an efficient way to work with these 2 tools at the same time.
